Our teams have been very active this month! Our Toledo and Maumee teams came together for some of our favorite fundraising events which also hit close to home. We are so grateful to our team members who come out and support the local causes so we gifted Frankel and Frankel and Puhl beanies to everyone who participated!

We kicked off the month with the Out of the Darkness Walk to support each other and the memories of our loved ones. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health and it’s important to take time to reflect on yourself and focus on your mental state. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in individuals 15-24 and affects millions every year. Your loved ones will need you tomorrow and we care for your mental health. Frankel Dentistry is thinking of all those who have been affected by suicide.

Back to the track!  Sunday our teams tighten their laces, put their beanies on, and hit the park for the annual Miles for Smiles 5k! Miles for Smiles is one of our favorite events because it is so family friendly. They offer a timed 5k, a fun run/walk, and a children’s walk! Our girls often bring their children and significant others. Health is wealth and we love inspiring healthy lifestyles in our little ones at a young age!  The Greater Toledo Dental Society sponsors Miles for Smiles to raise funds for the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio and those less fortunate who may not be able to afford dental services. #AlwaysBetter Our marathon master, Julie Riffle, along with her husband Justin led the pack and came in 1st place overall! This is Julie’s second year placing first! Way to represent! A special thank you to The Greater Toledo Dental Society.

Last but certainly not least, we gathered at Downtown Toledo’s Promenade Park for the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This disease affects more than 6 million Americans. We took this time to remember the ones we love and support those affected by Alzheimer’s. We were invited to hold flowers to represent who we walk for. Who do you walk for?

Our team loves exploring Toledo and the new and old it has to offer. After the walk, our team headed on over to the Original Tony Packo’s at the Park, a Toledo classic. While Tony Packo’s may have a us beat, Frankel Dentistry has been serving the Toledo area for over 75 year since 1946! Toledo classic’s are something we hold near and dear to our hearts.

This Fall season has been beautiful and we are fortunate and grateful to spend time creating memories with our team and supporting so many meaningful causes. Working with a team you love to spend time with inside and outside of the office is so important to us and we are grateful for our passions bringing us together.
